Treks & Walks
The Tour De Mont Blanc
The Tour de Mont Blanc is a fantastic 10-day walking tour around the impressive and awe-inspiring Mont Blanc (4807m). The circular tour is a demanding one, but vehicle support throughout allows trekers to carry only the necessary day packs and the accommodation is more suited to those who prefer their home comforts with hotel accommodation when possible. The circular tour starts in the Chamonix valley and crosses into Italy and Switzerland, it is on steep mountain paths circumnavigating Mont Blanc and its satellite peaks. Each stage requires a full days walk negotiating several passes up to 9,000ft.
The Haute Route Trek
Another fantastic trek, is the famous Haute Route Trek. An 11 day trek across the backbone of the Alpes, the trek starts in Argentiere and ends in Zermatt, with spectacular views from start to finish, this trek has been extended from last year to include the new hut close to Zermatt, providing a wonderful final days walk with spectacular views of the Matterhorn.
The Walkers Week
For those looking for something a little gentler, the Walking Week is chalet based and includes several of the most spectacular day walks as well as one over night hut stay. It is the perfect week for those who wish to spend a week walking with a Guide, without the worry of where to go and with a great place to come back to. It is also an ideal week for those who want to gain some alpine experience before coming out on a trek week.
The 3 dates have been arranged to take in the quieter periods of the summer with 2 late springtime and one early September, thus providing cooler quieter paths and during the Springtime wonderful flowers.
