How to get to Chalet McNab in Argentiere.
By Air
The nearest airport to Chamonix is Geneva Airport. It is approximately 1hour 15 minutes away by car. We recommend Easy jet for a budget price and Easyjet flies from Liverpool, Stanstead, Luton, Gatwick, Edinburgh and East Midlands.
By car from Geneva Airport.
Follow directions for France as you leave the airport. Go straight ahead at the first two sets of traffic lights then move into the RH lane as you follow directions left. After customs follow signs for Chamonix Mont Blanc along the Autoroute Blanc. There are two tolls along the way and costs are always changing but are approx 1.70euro for the first toll and 3.80euros for the second toll.
Directions from Chamonix
As you arrive into Chamonix you will cross over a railway line and arrive at a large roundabout close to the town centre. Take the first road right, follow this for approx 8 km (you cross a second smaller roundabout after 1km and then another after about 3km). In Argentiere continue along the main road until you go underneath a railway bridge. Immediately after the bridge take a sharp left (almost a U turn) and it looks like you are turning into a car park for a large white apartment building called the Cristal Apartments. There is a narrow lane without tarmac which runs along in front of this apartment building. Follow this lane to the end, we are the last chalet.
Transfers from Geneva Airport
If you would like to book a transfer from the airport to the chalet and back again, please email us us or call us with your flight details - flight number and time of arrival and departure and your mobile number. Transfers can be booked for anytime of the day if booked before 7 days of your arrival/departure date. We use a variety of transfer companies and charge a cover cost of £68.00 return. For a group of up to 8 the price for a one way transfer is £155.00.

Arrival and Departure Times at the Chalet
You may arrive and depart from the chalet at any time on your arrival/departure days. On your arrival day your room will be available from 3.30pm and you must vacate your room by 10.30am on the morning of your departure. Bags may be left in the foyer inbetween times.
