Mont Blanc Ascents

The most awe inspiring and spectacular mountain in the Chamonix valley is Mont Blanc (4810m) the highest mountain in Western Europe. The ascent of Mont Blanc is a great challenge and requires some technical skills and a good level of fitness.

The Classic Haute Route

Another popular route for the mountaineer or experienced treker is the Classic Haute Route. It is a technical trek at high altitude and requires expert guidance from a High Mountain Guide. Starting from the village of Argentiere and finishing at Zermatt in Switzerland the route is a 75 mile trek which traverses more than a dozen glaciers with a total ascent and descent of 10,000m.
